Did you ever witness a rocket launch into outer space, or race a hot air balloon to the finish line? Exactly what mode of transportation will You take to heaven? Well, we are going to plan this trip together, complete with directions! And don't worry; accommodations are first class all the way!
"What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!" 1 Corinthians 2:9
UP, UP AND AWAY WE GO!
Don't miss the visual spectacle of a rocket launch pad, a hot air balloon race and the coolest observatory. Kids will love their trip on flight 777 and watch the building of a golden tower at a full-scale construction site. Each day, kids get to learn that we can never imagine what heaven will be like, but we can bring heaven to earth here and now with our love and kindness to others.
Every day is a different theme with coordinating skits, lessons, crafts, games, music and snacks. A hot lunch is provided and each afternoon, the kids get to participate in a mission project with a children's grief program, overseas military, therapy pets and nursing home residents. TUESDAY BRINGS A REAL HOT AIR BALLOON DEMO IN THE PARKING LOT!! Kids will create a reminder wrist band for each day and take home lots of other fun stuff.

Stow Presbyterian Church is an active participant in the community and engages in mission work to address local needs throughout the year. This summer, the VBS students will also participate in mission projects each afternoon of the VBS week. A representative from an overseas military program, a children’s grief program, a pet therapy program and a local nursing home will take time to explain to the kids what their organization does and what it means to the individuals of each program when the kids put their hands to a project. The kids will then work on a project specific for that organization of the day, including working side-by-side with residents of the local nursing home who will visit along with their representative. Serving others is how we build our treasures in heaven and it is important that even kids begin to share that hope with those who need it most.
Before and After Care is available daily. Before care begins at 7am till VBS begins at 9am and does not include breakfast. Feel free to send breakfast with your child. Before care is available for $10.00 per child for the entire week.
After Care is available daily from 3:30pm till 6:00pm for $10.00 per week as well. Both options will include activity sheets, and some movie/media options to keep kids engaged.
